Greenbriar provides both short term rehabilitation and long term nursing care. In collaboration with our resident, their loved ones, and their health care team, care plans are designed to meet their individual needs. A full range of skilled nursing and rehabilitative services are available. Our staff includes nurses, dieticians, therapists and social workers. Greenbriar’s skilled nursing is both Medicare and Medicaid certified and participates in the area’s most popular managed care plans.
Short Term Rehabilitation
When you think of some of the country’s greatest retreats and spas, most are nestled in memorable settings that in combination with proven programs, add to the rejuvenation of those who visit. Greenbriar brings that same concept of rejuvenation to its Highland View Rehabilitation Center by offering state-of-the-art rehabilitation techniques in a historical setting. Our goal is to restore lost or diminished abilities after an illness or injury by treating the whole person—physically, emotionally and socially. Our objective is to return each person to his or her highest level of functioning. We achieve our goals by combining a highly qualified professional staff, and a restorative environment that encourages progress. Short term rehabilitation care is often covered by Medicare and other insurers for qualifying stays (deductibles and co-pays may apply).
Long Term Care
Experienced and compassionate, around-the-clock nursing care is provided for long term skilled nursing residents. Semi-private and private rooms are available with dining rooms located down the hall in close proximity for easy access. Long term residents enjoy a casual environment where visitors are always welcome. Planned activities include exercise, spiritual services, arts and crafts, outings and more; for a more well-rounded living experience.
